To be able to create some of these, you need the right set of tools. You'll also need to be able to use them. I've lost count of how many TVs, movie screens, projectors, speakers, a/v racks, etc... We have the correct tools to do detailed work. The details are what set us apart. Check out some of the following work that was installed with these tools and others. Some of these are still under construction.
There's more to this picture than you can see. This Sony Master Series OLED is all you need to see. What you don't see, is the AV racks and the subwoofer, built into the custom cabinetry. To the left of the fireplace, is the 10" Triad subwoofer and the ventilation fan. On the right, is the House AV system, neatly tucked into the beautiful cabinets. It includes an RTI controller with and NAD T778 surround receiver for the Living Room, followed by an RTI AD-8x house music amp, with Bluesound 24bit192k streaming players. The Triad Gold series surround speakers, are built into the ceiling. This is an amazing TV, with incredibly good speakers, with an exceptional surround receiver! It's a great place to watch a movie, and an amazing place to hear your music! This property includes whole house Lutron lighting and shades, with Doorbird entry front and back! The entire place has built in speakers with iPad and iPhone control. Each TV has an RTI T1-B+ controller.
This is another part of this beautiful place. Visitors will get their own Living Room setup, with pull out couch, and kitchenette. It includes a Sony Master Series OLED and ceiling mounted speakers. It looks and sounds great! This room is also part of the Lutron lighting and shade system. It can be controlled using an iPad or iPhone. It's easier to pick up the handheld RTI T1-B+ controller, push one button, and watch Apple TV. The ceiling speakers, made by Origin Acoustics, are also part of the music system. You can play your music from the iPhone, straight to the Apple TV!
Everything, right in front of your eyes! This is a beautiful and simple setup. What you see, is the Samsung 8k LED TV above the fireplace, with a Sonos Arc soundbar below. What you don't see, is the Samsung one connect box, Apple TV, Philips sync box, and the Philips light strip. All of these things are neatly organized and mounted, along with their cabling, on the back of the TV. They are beautifully managed and placed within the bracket, so that it will close to its intended position. This setup didn't need to be part of any house system. It's operated, using the Samsung manufacturer remote. Elegant and simple! Play your music from your phone to the Apple TV, or the Sonos soundbar. It sounds great in here!
UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! - In the DESIGN section of my website, you can see the same project here. This room started, as a previous owner's dream. It had chairs, and room full of old bulky equipment, a 60" TV and a huge amount of messy cables, cabinetry, drapes, etc... My client and I, had the contractor build out the front wall, leaving just enough room on the sides, for an AV rack on the left, and a station for the karaoke machine, and games, on the right. The custom cabinetry that holds all this, is under construction and soon to be installed. The Triad Silver series speakers, have been laid out, in order, to show the client what's about to be loaded into the walls and ceiling. You can see that the built out front wall, and the rest of the room, has been spray painted at this point. This colors are neutral black, and 18% neutral gray, taken from a 3-point grayscale checker. The next step, is to install the front wall speaker covering, then the screen and projector. After that, we hook up the AV rack to the projector and speakers. Onward!!!
STILL, UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! - What a difference having a pro install the front wall covering makes! Dean is an expert at installing paneling with padding and acoustic material. We started by installing padding behind the screen, then Dean's magic black material, finishes the look. The panels are velcro connected, for easy removal. The screen is made by Stewart Filmscreen. It's called a Balon Edge. The edge is slight, and hardly visible. The frame is rigid, and the screen stays firm. It gives the impression of a giant 135" flat screen TV. When the cabinets are installed you won't see the incredible AV rack full of goodies! In that rack is an Audio Control RX-8 Surround Receiver, with 2 Bijou Amps for the Atmos channels. The 2 rack mounted 700 watt Triad subwoofer amps live there as well. For players, we have a Panasonic DP-UB9000 UHD DVD player, a 4k Apple TV, and an input for gaming. We also have an input prepared for Video Karaoke! The JVC DLA-RS2100 laser projector fills this screen with a beautiful, vivid, and sharp picture! It has 8k E-shift, 2500 lumens, near DCI-P3 color volume, and a multi segment lens! Good stuff! Finally the house has an RTI controller, here in the rack. This room can be controlled by the iPhone/iPad app, or you can use the convenient RTI T2x handheld controller. It's the easiest way to get things started. This is already a special room, and my client has been enjoying it immensely! We all can't wait for the finishing touches. The door has been padded, and the walls have some new sound panels and sconces!! The cabinets, and the dragons, are coming! More soon...
